Basically<\/span> there are two different<\/span> techniques<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Relining is a collective name of different methods for the interior renovation of pipes. There are several different techniques \/ methods, but the common ground is that there are fewer interventions in the property, less impact for residents and a shorter renovation time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are mainly two different techniques for renovating pipe relining in buildings – with flexible liner as Sacpipe Connection System or coating with thermosetting plastics.
<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Renovating with flexible liner creates a new self-supporting pipe system using compressed air technology and the liner is cured under pressure inside the old pipe. It installs simply a new pipe with the old pipe as a casting mold. When the new pipe is cured, it is no longer dependent on the old pipe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • When using coating as renovation method. A polyseter plastic is sprayed or epoxy is brushed out and will then cure inside the pipes. The durability of the old pipes is improved with an internal coating \/ wear surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    There are three factors that determine that it will be a good result – the choice of systems, materials and installers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Some tips for you who are about to renovate your pipes with relining<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Do your homework first! <\/span>Read about\u00a0the system and material. <\/span>Ask for references and samples so that you can learn mor and compare the\u00a0material\u00a0with a new PP pipe.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Some installers in Sweden are members of BRiF, the association of relining in properties. It involves an annual inspection by SP, the Swedish Technical Research Institute. Which does not guarantee the result but they have everything in\u00a0order at the company, like\u00a0documentation and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use an installer that is trained on the system they install. Ask to see the certificate for the relevant training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Prefabricated branch pipes will be installed. Make sure this is included in the inquiry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Installation documentation\u00a0and operating \/ maintenance instructions should always be provided to the client. To ensure the results you can hire\u00a0an independent inspector who inspects the exposed parts such as branch pipes and bends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Make sure to do a detailed feasibility study of the project to ensure that an inquiry is complete so that you minimize any additional work and extra costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Are you missing knowledge, you should enlist the help of an independent consultant. (There are no independent sellers …)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
